Usage of land in ancient Rome

People in Rome used the land to build many different buildings, to plant crops, to farm and to travel (by using roads).
• Romans built churches, temples, houses etc., but they also built some special places like the colosseum.
• Farming was an occupation and crops were planted to feed the cities and towns.
• Roads were formed so as travelling was made easier.
These uses of land were featured in Ancient Rome to make life easier to live and to cope with, apart from churches and temples which were a place of religion and belief.
